Spanish 2
1) We talked about why people should study Spanish and the important elements of communication students should have learned in Spanish 1 – Vocabulary, Verbs (how they work), Pronunciation, and Practice (the fact that lots of short practice periods are required to learn another language).
2) Students chose where they will sit for the next 3 weeks, so ask where you can find an open desk.
3) We learned the names of the first third of our classmates.
4) Students checked out books, listened to information from pages 2-3, and answered questions over the information.
5) La tarea – start to review vocabulary from Spanish 1. See page 25 in your book.
Español 3-4
1) Aprendimos un trabalenguas – Paco Peco – para practicar la pronunciación.
2) Los estudiantes me mostraron (showed me) la tarea de miércoles: los tuits con las caras dibujadas según lo que escribieron los jóvenes. También, los estudiantes de la clase escribieron un tuit original.
3) Repasamos los verbos irregulares en el presente – ser, estar, ir, poner, salir, hacer, saber.
4) Los estudiantes recibieron los libros y escucharon el blog de Lucía, pp. 2-3.
**Habla conmigo para obtener un libro.**
5) Vamos a entrevistar (interview) a otro estudiante el viernes, y hoy encontramos al compañero para esta actividad.
6) La tarea – No tuvimos tarea oficial, pero siempre es buena idea repasar/estudiar el vocabulario.
