Spanish 2
1) We went over the answers to the “Vocabulary A” 1/2-sheet that we had for our homework assignment. I did not mark credit, but do ask to see the answer key.
2) We learned how to use affirmative and negative words (siempre, nunca; alguien, nadie, etc.). See p. 283 in your book.
**Take copies of the orange 1/2-sheet of notes on this topic and the white “Learn affirmative and negative words” worksheet. We did Acts. 1, 2, 3 in class.
3) We watched a 10-minute video on paella, the Spanish traditional rice dish, and wrote up an official recipe based on the information we saw and heard.
**For credit: take any recipe and write in Spanish the ingredients and instructions on how you make the dish. Have one column for the “Ingredientes” and another column for the “Instrucciones. Your recipe must have at least 7 ingredients and 7 commands on how you make it.”**
4) La tarea – Act. 5 from the “Learn affirmative and negative words” worksheet we started in class.
Español 3-4 Combinado
1) Hablamos de las respuestas a las 2 tareas de antes – las formas del imperfecto del subjuntivo con las preguntas sobre situaciones hipotéticas; y las primeras preguntas sobre Don Quijote.
**Habla conmigo si tienes preguntas.**
2) Leímos sobre el caballo y la dama (lady) de don Quijote.
**Toma una copia de la lectura. Eres responsable para las respuestas a las preguntas. Habla conmigo o con un compañero si no entiendes una parte.**
3) Formamos grupos para leer un capítulo del libro de don Quijote. Después de leer el capítulo, los grupos van a compartir lo que pasó con la clase. Vamos a continuar con esta actividad en la clase el jueves.
4) La tarea – tu obra maestra y los 2 párrafos de descripción
