Spanish 2
1) We started to learn a new verb form – el pretérito – to talk about what you did. The preterite is one of the past tenses in Spanish. See p. 65 in your book.
2) Students received a copy of the vocabulary sheet for 1.2.
3) La tarea – the worksheet to practice the preterite AND the vocabulary sheet to fill out and study
** Take a copy from the left folders. Also, take copies of the preterite verb chart and the vocabulary list. In all, you should have 3 sheets – one pink, one green, one white.**
4) Some students did the speaking part of their 1.1 TEST.
** Be sure you have credit for this.**
5) We will combine speaking points for this week with next week’s points. You will need a total of 8 points by Friday, October 12th.

1) Marqué crédito para la tarea – 2 hojas de preguntas – la de Capítulo 2 y la de Capítulo 3.
**Muéstrame tus respuestas.**
2) Compartimos las respuestas a las preguntas para estar seguros (sure) que entendimos todo.
3) Usamos el imperfecto para añadir (add) descripción a los eventos. Ejemplo: Juan naciío en San Pablo, Guatemala. (Añadimos: San Pablo era un pueblo pequeño cerca de un lago. No tenía mucha tecnología, etc.)
4) No tuvimos tarea, pero los estudiantes entienden que van a tener que “intensificar” su uso del español en la clase.
