1) I marked credit for the homework assignment – the worksheet on gustar and ir.
**Put your answers in the “Tarea aquí” box.**
2) We practiced writing sentences with forms of “ir” and places people go.
**Be sure to know that “a + el” becomes “al.” Example: Voy al cine esta noche. (I’m going to the movies tonight.) However, “a” does not contract with “la, los, las.” Example: Voy a la piscina mañana. (I’m going to the pool tomorrow.)**
3) We added the verb “estar” to our verb charts. Estar – to be – yo estoy, tú estás, él/ella/Ud. está, nosotros estamos, ellos/ellas/Uds. están. Be sure to write in the accents!
4) We went over the expressions of feeling (with estar and tener) on our vocabulary lists.
**See page 29 in your book or ask me if you don’t know the meanings of some of the words.**
5) La tarea – 1/2-sheet on feelings with estar and tener.
**Take a copy from the left, front folders.**
6) Our second quiz is Thursday, over pages 10-21. Study this information!!

Parte A: Escribe 6 oraciones sobre Juanes/Enrique/su música/sus videos. Incluye ser, estar, comparaciones.
Parte B: una hoja de práctica con los verbos reflexivos.
**Toma una copia y mira la página 18 si necesitas un repaso sobre cómo se usan estos verbos.**
