*A friendly reminder that any 8th grade girl interested in auditioning for Star Strutters needs to complete and turn in her audition packet by Monday, February 26 at 3:30 p.m. Please turn in packets to the main office at Lincoln Northeast, not your school’s main office.
- Students must be registered online with the YMCA to attend ½ Program or Full Program CLC! https://apm.activecommunities.com/ymcalincoln/Activity_Search (search “Mickle 2017”)
- Due to limited staffing, there will be no more ½ Program (3:15-4:15) CLC on Tuesdays after school (starting on February 20th for the rest of the year). As a reminder, students need to be off campus by 3:15 pm unless they are involved in a clubs, intramurals, or working with a teacher.
Free Community Awareness Series: Promoting Healthy Behaviors
Tuesday, Feb 27, Southwest High School Auditorium, 6:30pm
Sue Anderson from Voices of Hope will be presenting about essential elements of a healthy relationship. Her presentation will provide education, tools and resources as to how to best guide our children and adolescents in healthy and safe relationship development.
8th Graders Attending Washington DC Trip:
There will be a mandatory meeting for all Washington DC students on Monday, February 26th. This meeting will be held in the cafeteria at Mickle at 6 pm. We will cover all the trip details in this meeting and will be sending important information home with families. If you are unable to make it the meeting, please contact Mrs. Mueller or Ms. Feeken as soon as possible.
