Good luck to our 7th/8th Grade Band students during their fall concert tonight at 7:00p in the auditorium. Students wishing to sit in the audience and watch should be accompanied by an adult.
Friday, October 13th is the last day of Q1, so now is the time to get in those missing assignments!
Lost and Found items are growing. Students should check outside of the auditorium for missing items. Remember to put names inside of coats and jackets as the weather begins to change. Unclaimed items from lost and found will be donated after Friday, October 13th.
Raising Cane’s has partnered with Mickle for another year of collecting coats, jackets, and heavy sweatshirts for their Raising Cane’s Coat Drive. Students are encouraged to bring the coats to their 4th period X-Day teachers classrooms from October 6th – October 20th. Raising Cane’s will provide a Tailgate Party to the class with the highest percentage of participation. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Mueller or Ms. Hoffman. Thanks for all the help!

You and your student are invited to attend an informational presentation about preparing for high school. Speakers will give information about: the process of selecting a high school, LPS Focus Programs (Science, Arts & Humanities, and Bryan), the International Baccalaureate Program at Lincoln High, The Career Academy, Air Force Junior ROTC program at Northeast, Learn to Dream Scholarship Program, and EducationQuest.
Tuesday, October 10th – Lincoln High School auditorium 7:00-8:00 p.m.
Both sessions are open to the families of ALL students, no matter which high school your student plans to attend. If you have any questions about these special programs or transitioning to high school in general, you are encouraged to call the Counseling Center at your planned high school.
