Teaching Strategies GOLD is the assessment tool we use in the early childhood program. This assessment tool believes in ongoing assessment by taking anecdotal notes throughout the entire school year.  Our preschool year is divided into 3 periods.  After year period parents receive a GOLD report that tells where their child is in the following areas: social-emotional, physical, language, cognitive, literacy, math, science, social studies and the arts.
