The PSAT will be offered Saturday, October 17th at Lincoln Southwest. Any junior or highly motivated sophomore that wants to take the PSAT must register with Kathleen Clements in the counseling office. Tickets go on sale September 28th and the deadline to register is Friday, October 9th or until all seats are full. The cost to take the test is $30 and is due at the time of registration (cash or check only).
For helpful hints and to take a practice test visit HERE.
Juniors: You must take the PSAT in your junior year in order to be considered for the National Merit Scholarship Program. Learn more about the National Merit Scholarship Program by visiting their website HERE. This test will also help prepare you for the SAT and ACT.
Sophomores: You may take the test as a practice, but your results will not be considered for the National Merit Scholarship Program. If you choose to take the PSAT this year, it would be practice for next year as well as the ACT and SAT. Limited spots are available for sophomores and registration will be based on a first come first serve basis.
