2020 Summer School Information

Students who are interested in attending summer school need to complete the “2020 Southwest High School Summer School Enrollment” form.

This is the first step in signing up for summer school. Please view the “Summer School Directions for Students” and watch this WeVideo, which explains the summer school enrollment and course selection process.

The “Summer School Directions for Students” attachment also explains the difference between the two learning options for summer school: Remote Learning and E-Learning.

Once you complete the enrollment form, you will have access to complete your summer school course requests on StudentVue during the following time frames:
-Current Seniors: April 27th – May 21st
-Current Juniors: May 4th – May 21st
-Current Sophomores and Freshmen: May 11th – May 21st

Change-Maker Scholarship Competition

The UNL College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources has launched the Change Maker Competition, a quick pitch scholarship competition for prospective and current CASNR students who dare to dream big and do the extraordinary to address worldwide issues. Submit a two-minute video explaining your big idea to address grand challenges and be entered to win full-tuition scholarships for the 2020-21 academic year. Winning students will also be matched with a mentor to help make their big idea a reality.

ROTC Scholarship Opportunity

The ROTC has scholarships available to seniors who are starting college this fall at colleges across Nebraska including; Creighton, UNO, UNL, UNK, Wayne State, Chadron State, Doane University, Nebraska Wesleyan, and Concordia University.

The scholarships are for up to 3 years in length.  Students would need to contact the recruiting operations officer at UNL to find out more information on qualifications and how to apply: acloutier2@unl.edu
