With the launch of varsity and club esports programs beginning Fall 2020, Missouri Western State University will bring new opportunities to students–opportunities to participate in esports at the collegiate level, make connections with other students, and prepare for careers in the multibillion-dollar esports industry, including shout casting, game development, marketing and more.
Missouri Western recently hired its first esports coach and will build a state-of-the-art esports arena in Blum Student Union over the summer. What is esports?
