University of South Dakota’s High School Robotic Programming Contest

University of South Dakota’s 40th annual High School Robotic Programming Contest. The contest will take place in the Muenster University Center on Friday, April 10, 2020, starting at 8:00 a.m.

This event is a great opportunity for students to practice their programming skills, collaborate with their peers and get to know the USD Computer Science Department. In the past, this event was solely a programming contest. Four years ago, the department revamped the competition to include robot programming, and the event has since bloomed into a major event for high school teams in the area. In 2017, the University of South Dakota hosted 29 teams, with over 100 participants from 16 high schools, and we awarded over $50,000 in housing scholarships to the top ten teams.
