Opening Session/ Event Begins: 9:00 am

Attendees should arrive and complete registration/check-in between 8:15 am and 8:50 am.  The event begins promptly at 9:00 am with an opening session.  This year will feature a panel of healthcare providers representing pediatric medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and more.  Following the opening panel, student groups will be rotating through three separate opportunities: Career Exploration Fair, UNMC Health Science Education Complex Information Session and a breakout session.

Over 30+ representatives from various healthcare professions will be sponsoring tables at the Career Exploration Fair.  A campus tour will be available at the conclusion of the day.  For more information regarding the day please visit www.unk.edu/healthcareersfair.

Lunch IS NOT included as part of the Health Careers Fair. However, lunch vouchers for The Market, located in the Nebraskan Student Union, will be available to students to purchase at a reduced price ($6.86) if the students are interested in having lunch on campus following the Fair.

The healthcare field is one of the largest growing career fields today and UNK offers over 20 different options for pre-professional training for a career in healthcare.  The healthcare industry is growing by leaps and bounds with new career opportunities and advancements in the traditional professions.  The UNK Health Careers Fair provides students with the opportunity to gather information and learn more about healthcare professions.

Pre-registration is appreciated and will expedite the check-in process the day of the Fair!

If you are planning to attend, go to visit.unk.edu and find October 11th on the Events Calendar.
