  • Criteria:      Graduating senior in top half of class

    Active in school

    Possess leadership qualities

    Applicant must attend Peru State College beginning Fall 2017

     

  •  Amount:     One-half on-campus tuition per term; up to a maximum of 128

    credit hours over four years.

  • Selection:    This scholarship will be awarded to three (3) Lincoln Public Schools

    seniors from applications received at all six public high schools.

  • Deadline: January 20th, 2017 – Counseling Center

National Center for Airborne Laser Mapping

Did you know that in the past six years the National Center for Airborne Laser Mapping (NCALM), located at the University of Houston, has mapped archeological sites in Beliz, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico to discover ancient ruins, including an unknown ancient civilization deep within the Honduran rainforests?

Runza & KLKN Student Athlete of the Month

Balancing schoolwork, athletics and one’s personal life is a difficult challenge in high school. KLKN TV Channel 8 and Runza® Restaurants created a partnership to honor senior student-athletes for their achievements in the classroom and in the community & provide them with a $500 scholarship for college.

The “Runza® KLKN Student Athlete of the Month” will be interviewed by Sports Director Brett Edwards in a special monthly segment on the 6 and 10 o’clock news broadcasts.
