The Department of Design at KU is excited to announce our third annual summer program for high school students-KU Design Camp. We invite students who have completed their freshman, sophomore or junior year to register for a week of immersive studio experience at KU.
Students will work with our full-time Design faculty and have two completed projects to include in their portfolio at the end of KU Design Camp. This is a great opportunity for students to learn from our distinguished faculty in the following studios.
- 3D Modeling and Storytelling
- 3D Modeling and Printing
- 2D Animation Fundamentals
- Antique Photographic Processes in the Digital Age
- Digital Photography & Mixed Media
- Branding Identity & Super Graphics
- Letterpress
- Packaging Design
- Lighting Design
The students will celebrate their work with friends and family by hosting an exhibition on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Art & Design Gallery on campus.
Camp Dates: June 12-18, 2016
Cost: $900, includes studio fees, meals, evening activities, and housing
- Cost for Non-residential: $750, includes meals, studio fees, and evening activities
- (Students are responsible for their own travel arrangements to and from KU).
