Juniors and seniors in high school not only have the opportunity to take college-level coursework in a career cluster of their interest, but also have multiple opportunities to explore their career in a hands-on approach through job shadowing, field trips, professional speakers, and annual events highlighting resume building, mock interviews, and other worthy career-related activities.
The program is designed for students to participate in SENCAP for two years with the intention of students earning college credit and preparing them for their future careers.
Students can take their SENCAP courses in a variety of formats: online, fiber/distance learning, hybrid, or face to face. In addition to their college course, they will have a weekly portfolio assignment aimed to provide career education and exploration.
