Kiwanis Club of Lincoln Scholarships

The Kiwanis Club of Lincoln is offering awards of $600.00 each. Applicants must be graduating seniors of Lancaster County High Schools accepted at any community college or four- year college or university in Nebraska. (Exceptions exist for the Gwen and Al Farmer Nursing Scholarship offer for a non-traditional student and the Hidden Valley Golf Scholarship specific to the UN-L PGA Program.)

NMC, in partnership with the Diesel Technology Program at Central Community College in Hastings, Nebraska, offers a two-year sponsorship coupled with an apprenticeship program at NMC Cat locations in Nebraska.

LIBA Free Enterprise Scholarship

LIBA (Lincoln Independent Business Association) is offering a total of 12 $1,000 LIBA Free Enterprise Scholarships to high school seniors. Eight of the 12 scholarships will be awarded annually to a high school senior & four of the 12 scholrships will be awarded annual to dependents of of all LIBA member business owners and their employees.

Davis Chambers Scholarship

The Davis Chambers Scholarship recognizes academically promising students from diverse backgrounds who often find that the financial requirements of postsecondary education are a major obstacle. Qualified applicants should be graduates of a Nebraska High School and a resident of Nebraska.

The amount can equal the full cost of attendance. The typical award is between $2,000 and $4,000 a year. Each applicant is required to also file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as additional resources may be available to students with financial need. UNMC recipients receive awards between $500 – 2,000.
