St. Olaf

St. Olaf’s is committed to providing students with an affordable education. One way to do that is by offering merit scholarships (from $2,000-$24,000 per year) in academics, the fine arts, and service leadership. St. Olaf’s meets 100% of demonstrated financial need of all admitted students. Our need-based financial aid awards use scholarships, grants, student employment, and a reasonable level of student loans to make a St. Olaf education attainable for every qualified student. Nearly 90% of our students receive financial aid or scholarships, and we extend need-based aid to international students as well.

St. Olaf shares families’ concerns about incurring student debt. In order to help students graduate with manageable debt, They began this fall to increase grants and reduce the loans used to meet demonstrated need.
