Reed Overnight Multicultural Experience (ROME) November 5 – 7 Each year, the Reed Admission Office offers domestic high school seniors from historically underrepresented racial and ethnic backgrounds (Asian American, Latino/a American, African American, Native American, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander) an opportunity to apply for a fly-in program called Reed Overnight Multicultural Experience. Diversity Fly-In Program, October 29 – 31 Pitzer College hosts two fall diversity preview program in early November. This program is designed specifically for students from underrepresented backgrounds from across the continental U.S. The Diversity Program is an all-inclusive, all-expense-paid program for which round-trip transportation will be covered. Visit Scholarship Program, November 8 – 9 Whitman College seeks to bring students whose backgrounds and experiences offer varying perspectives on living and learning in a multicultural world to our campus. Approximately 85 high school seniors from underrepresented socioeconomic, racial and cultural backgrounds are invited to an expense-paid visit to Whitman during the fall or spring semesters. Visiting students will stay with an overnight host in a residence hall, eat in our dining halls, visit up to two classes, and meet with an admission officer, coaches, faculty, staff and student leaders upon request. Explore CSU, October 2 Explore CSU is a comprehensive visit day program designed for high school seniors and transfer students to experience what it means to be a Ram. This full-day program includes an admissions overview, walking tour of campus, lunch in one of our dining centers and two academic presentation sessions of your choice. Before the day concludes there will be an information and resource fair featuring campus organizations and representatives from all eight academic colleges.
