Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture

The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture (NCTA)  is a two year, all hands-on, all agriculture programs where students can earn an associate of science (A.S.) degree, associate of applied science (A.A.S.) degree, or a certificate.

The main areas of study include Veterinary Technology, Agronomy, Animal Science/Ag Education, Ag Mechanics and Agribusiness Management. NCTA is a STEM institution focusing on studies of Agriculture that are based around Science and Technology, as well as Engineering and Mathematics.

The Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture in Curtis is the home of Nebraska’s Veterinary Technology Program. Our program features new technical laboratories, state of the art equipment, surgery and necropsy rooms, and animal housing facilities.

Other Associate of Applied Science degree options in the Vet Tech program include Veterinary Assistant, Animal Health Management, Animal Husbandry and Equine Health Care. The Comparative Medicine program is offered only in Curtis at our NCTA campus.
