Joseph’s College $2,500 Anniversary Scholarship

Joseph’s College is celebrating its 50th year in June by giving a $2,500 Anniversary Scholarship to all new student who enroll & begins their education at any of the Joseph’s College campuses during the month of June. To apply for this grant, please contact Admissions at 800-742-7827 or email This scholarships is valid only for first time Joseph’s students who begin their students in June 2015. It will be applied to tuition upon the student’s successful completion of the training program at 2100 clock hours. The amount of $1,250 will be awarded in two consecutive financial aid years. Hawk Food Market

Students are reminded that the last Hawk Food Market for the 2014-15 school year will be held tomorrow in the A118 Forum at 2:15 to 3:30 pm. Grocery items from Foodbank of Lincoln and clothing from Rob’s Closet are available to ALL students and their families at no charge.

Youth Leadership Lincoln

Freshman, there is a city-wide leadership program called Youth Leadership Lincoln. Each year they select a very limited number of freshman from across all schools in the city to participate in an interactive, hands-on experience focusing on developing leadership skills and educating you about the different roles you can have in your community. If you are interested, you must pick up an application, which we have in the office and submit the completed application by Fri. May 15th. Some of our present 10th graders who are YLL members this year are: Elizabeth Gao, Natalie Hillman, Emma Keifer, Tanvi Santhosh, and Meena Vasudevan. Inspiring Women Scholarship

The Inspiring Women Scholarship will be given to one person from each of the Congressional District from Nebraska. The amount of the scholarship is $500 and is for students graduating this year and continuing their education or are currently enrolled in a higher education program.
