The Asian Community & Cultural Center will be presenting ten $500 Asian Center Scholarships to Asian or Asian-American students who will graduate from Lincoln high schools this year. The scholarship may be used for any vocational, community college, or university in the United States and will be presented at the LPS Asian Student Recognition Ceremony on May 19th, 2015. One $500 Smile Out Loud Scholarship will be awarded in 2015 to a dyslexic student attending a Lincoln, Nebraska high school who has been accepted for enrollment at a Nebraska institution of Higher education. Criteria includes the following:

• US Citizen who is at least 18 years of age at time award is made
• Current high school senior attending an accredited high school in Lincoln, NE
• Overall GPA of 2.0or higher
• Documented Specific Learning Disability
• At least one letter of reference from teacher, counselor, or administrator
