The University of Nebraska’s Peter Kiewit Institute (PKI) is now accepting applications for the Walter Scott, Jr. Scholarship.
The Walter Scott, Jr. Scholarship is the most prestigious scholarship extended by the PKI. Scholars are chosen from the best and the brightest students who are committed to life-long learning and prepared to contribute to society and the future of technology. The Scott Scholarship covers room and board, student fees, course books, and a laptop computers. When paired with a University of Nebraska at Omaha Regents’ Scholarship, it is considered a full-ride scholarship. Out-of-State Scott Scholar recipients may also be eligible for funding.
Qualifications include:
ACT composite score of 30 or higher
3.5 cumulative grade point average on 4.0 scale
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Undergraduate programs based at PKI and taught by the College of Engineering or the College of Information Science & Technology:

Civil Engineering
Computer Engineering
Construction Engineering
Construction Management
Electronics Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Bioinformatics
Computer Science
Information Assurance
IT Innovation
Management Information Systems
