Professional Athletes Foundation Scholarship

The Professional Athletes Foundation Scholarship is designed for a high school athlete who intends to attend a university, college, or two-year institution that does not provide athletic scholarships. This scholarship rewards high school athletes for their non-athletic achievements and assists them in achieving their career goals. For more information contact Jim McFarland at 402-435-8080. Joyce Ivy Foundation

Joyce Ivy Foundation Summer Scholars are:

  • Young women of high potential with a strong academic record and demonstrated leadership
  • Students who have aspirations to matriculate at an academically rigorous and highly selective college or university

To be considered for a Summer Scholars grant, a student must be:

  • A U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident
  • A student at a high school in Michigan, Ohio, Missouri, Nebraska, Minnesota, North Dakota or South Dakota
  • Entering junior or senior year of high school (following your summer program)
  • Applications are due February 24th.

Buick Achievers Scholarship

You are making a difference. In your classroom and in your community. If you have the passion to succeed—especially in fields of study important to the automotive and related industries—the Buick Achievers Scholarship Program is looking for you. This year, we will award 100 renewable scholarships of up to $25,000 per year.

The application period is now open and will close at 5:00 p.m. EST on February 28, 2014.

Foundation for LPS Scholarships

LPS high school students are now able to apply online for over 150 scholarships available through the Foundation for LPS at  Scholarships range from $250 to $10,000.  All applications must be submitted online regardless of what the criteria stated in the past.  Students create an application profile and the software will direct them to specific scholarships they may be eligible for.  Multiple copies of required documents will no longer be necessary since these items (i.e. transcripts, letters of recommendations, etc.) can be uploaded to their profile/application(s) once and linked to multiple scholarships.  Applications are due by March 7.
