Time Warner Cable Student Journalism Internship
Digital Scout is launching a new intern program this Spring called TeamHSGC. This program is designed to introduce high school and college students to the world of sports media. The internship is associated with Time Warner Cable.
Digital Scout is the largest high school sports stat tracking company in the country. Our stat tracking apps are used in over 11,000 high schools across the US and over 900 colleges as well. Stats collected through our apps are posted live to our high school sports web portal, www.hsgamecenter.com.
Digital Scout is looking for TeamHSGC members that would like to get involved with their local high school teams by going to games and taking video, writing game recaps, statkeeping and even play-by-play broadcasting. Interns will be introduced to all facets of sports journalism, including web, television, radio, video, writing, social media and much more.
TeamHSGC already partners with local media organizations in many different cities across the US. These partnerships give students the chance to work with area professionals in the sports journalism industry while having their hard work featured on a nationally-viewed website.
