The 10^thAnnual Great Books for Great Kids fundraiser is fast approaching!  This annual fundraiser sponsored by Runza®, will be held on September 25 with 15% of Runza’s® sales being donated to FLPS in order to purchase Golden Sower books for LPS classrooms.

 Here are a few ways you can help make this day a success:

• Email the attached pdf to friends and colleagues and encourage them to pass the information onto their acquaintances.
• Join and share the event on Facebook:
  • Visit, https://www.facebook.com/events/354945961253299/.  Once the event appears, click the ‘+Join’ button in the upper right hand corner of the page to join the event. Once you join, an ‘Invite Friends’ button will appear.  Click the button and select from your friends listing those to invite to the event.
  • You have the opportunity to share the event on your own Facebook wall.  Once you have joined the event at https://www.facebook.com/events/354945961253299/, a “Share” link will appear under the guest list on the left hand side.  Simply click, “Share” and add your own personal message to the status box.

UNL’s College of Architecture will host an Open House on Friday, October 12th. Student will have an opportunity to learn about the academic programs, lunch with faculty & students, tour the College facilities, & participate in a design activity. Click here to register.
