Schedule Change Appointments

Beginning July 19th, 2021: Follow these detailed instructions to make an appointment with your ALPHA counselor for a schedule change.

Follow these steps:

  1. To make an appointment click the link for YOUR alpha counselor located below:
  1. When prompted you will need to login using your student LPS email (student ID#@class.lps.org) and password. (Parents will need to know student’s ID # and password if they are making the appointment for the student)
  2. When the calendar opens, you will see a message stating when the next available appointment for your counselor is:
  3. Click on the blue link to access the next available appointment
  4. Hover and click on the time slot you want. You will then be prompted to book an appointment.
  5. Delete open appointment and enter the student’s name and the type of appointment requested (in person or ZOOM).
  6. In the description box please enter Student ID# & Best Contact #. (EX: Doe, Jane, 123456, (123) 456-7890)
  7. Hit Save to reserve the appointment. If the appointment slot is reserved before you hit save, your computer will freeze or lock up and your request will not save, and you will NOT receive a confirmation. You will need to refresh the calendar and try for another appointment.

If your request went through, you will receive an  appointment  invitation  email  in  your  student’s  LPS  email  account: ######@class.lps.org

Please Note: You do not have to accept the appointment in your email because once you receive the email, you know your appointment is reserved. If you accept the appointment, this will put the appointment on your students Gmail calendar.

There will be no other reminder about this appointment, so please put it on your personal calendar.

If you scheduled an appointment via ZOOM please be logged into your LPS Chromebook by the time of your appointment.

Counselors will send you an invite through Synergy as soon as they are available to begin. Please be patient as some appointments may run longer than anticipated. We will be with you shortly.

Note: If you need to cancel your appointment, please CALL 402-436-1303, opt. 3 so we can reopen that time and you can use the system again to set a new appointment.

2021-2022 Schedule Change Days

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SCHEDULES and CHANGES 

On July 19, Students/Parents will be able to view their 2021-2022 course schedule on StudentVue/ParentVue.

Schedule changes requested before school starts will be addressed by appointment. Appointments will be done in person or via ZOOM at the time requested through the online request process. Walk-ins will be seen by the next available counselor.

Northeast Counselors are looking forward to working with you but are not on duty until July 28th. Please make an appointment for one of the dates and times listed below rather than emailing the counselor for requests.

Starting JULY 19, you may access the online appointment calendars here. Schedule Change Appointments links  will be added below July 19, 2021. By using the links you can access the online appointment request system that each counselor will be using for schedule change days.

Can’t come in for an appointment?

Schedule changes are to be made during the appointment times listed above. Counselors will see students the first week of school IF the student’s schedule meets one or more of the four reasons listed below:

     1. You are a Senior not enrolled in a class you need to graduate.

  1. You are enrolled in a class that you have already taken and
  2. You have not met the prerequisites for a class currently on your
  3. Your schedule is missing periods or says, “See ”

*Beginning Aug. 20th all schedule changes will require administrator approval and signed parent permission.

Before you make an appointment, please keep in mind that schedule changes are limited as there is little availability for classes to move, and one move may alter the entire class schedule. The class availability is in a constant state of change therefore, set your appointment when it is convenient for you to come to Northeast and not with the worry that earlier is better, as that is not always the case.

Reminder: Schedule changes will not be made for preferences in teachers, classmates, periods, semesters, or lunches.
