Biographical Writing “To-Do” List Part 2
1._____Organize the information into categories, chapters, or topics.
2._____Begin writing paragraphs based on the information from your interview and notes. Write your first rough draft. It is due on Friday, March 28th.
3._____Think of additional questions for your second interview. Think of possible items you want to include in the biography.
4._____Arrange for a second interview. Share the rough draft at the second interview time to see if you need to make any additions or corrections. The second interview must be completed by Friday, April 11th.
5._____Ask for a foreword to be written for your book.
6._____Collect any memorabilia for your book. Copy originals and return them.
7._____Add information from your second interview to your rough draft.
8._____Plan your book pages and the location of the memorabilia.
9. Write final copy. Printed pages due no later than April 28th
16. Book is due Friday, May 2nd.
