This week the students have been taking their Unit 2 test. They have been doing a nice job and hopefully I will have their scores in by Monday. As of right now, Synergy is completely updated, so please help your child if they have missing work.
Research has started and is going well. The students have chosen their topics and checked out their anchor books. Thursday and Friday this week we will write questions we would like to answer and begin learning how to take notes. It will take us most of the rest of the quarter to complete these papers, but in the end your child will have a product they can be proud of!
Please remember to have your child continue to work on their book report. The sooner we can do book talks in class the better. As soon as they are ready we will set an appointment to present to the class.
