Students engaged the reading process with the short story Black Men and Public Space. The story previewed some of the major themes in our upcoming novel, Black Boy.

Black Boy by Richard Wright: Students received the Study Guide for the novel, Black Boy.  Students then engaged the reading process with sustained silent reading.  Students should read chapter one for Thursday, 3/23.  Black Boy Calendar (link)
