Third grade is working with glass artist Carrie Strope to create an installation glass piece for Riley Elementary. We hope to install the glass piece in the windows down the main hallway. Each student was able to design a 4×4 square and choose their own analogous colors to create a unique and beautiful glass piece, then students added fiber paper to add visual texture before the pieces were placed in the kiln. We will have a artist reception on Thursday February 24th during parent-teacher conferences with the finalized glass art.
