Curriculum

Preschool Child Outcomes – The curriculum framework honors the development of the whole child.  It reflects an understanding that young children learn through active involvement and play.  Young children represent this knowledge in a variety of ways.  All the experiences are of equal importance and provide a solid foundation.  The different areas are: Language Development, Literacy, Mathematics, Science, Creative Arts, Social & Emotional Development, Approaches to Learning, Physical Health & Development.

Second Steps – The curriculum helps us learn and practice social-emotional skills.  The three major units of the program are Empathy Training, Emotion Management and Problem Solving.
