Sunday night is good for getting stuff done!

I used to always do my homework on Sunday night when I was in school.  It seems like I haven’t really grown out of that, as I sit here catching up on emails, mulling over my calendar and dropping stuff off at my room.  This week is going to be a blast!

Open House Tonight.

I was very happy to meet everyone that stopped by the 7C table tonight at Lux.  I’m sure I’m going to forget some names, but I’ve got some games to use so we can relearn everyone’s name in class.  I hope everyone is as excited as I’m getting for next week.

New Teacher Orientation!

I’m up at Schoo Middle School, where I’ve been for the past three days learning all I can about Differentiated Instruction, creating this website, assessments and tons of other useful stuff I can work with this year.  I’m finding that I could use a little more RAM in my head.

My first post!!

Here is where my colleagues, students and parents will be able to read what happens in my classroom on a daily (semi-daily?) basis.  I’ll drop some assignments here and thoughts about them so you don’t have to go search for them.  I will also keep open a page for cool links that I use on a  regular basis as well as links to articles, videos, podcasts and whatever else we can use to make out classroom more fun and engaging.  Any suggestions are welcome.  You can email me regarding anything so as to remain private and help me to keep my weblog professional. I look forward to a great year with you all.  Thanks!!
