Spanish 4

1.  La Sra. le dio a la clase la lista de vocabulario de 8.1 para ver cuántas palabras sabe cada estudiante.  Ella tiene tu copia.

2.  Corregimos la tarea.  La clave está en la carpeta de claves.  ES PARA UNA NOTA.

3.  Hicimos una actividad de traducir oraciones de inglés a español para repasar el pasado del porgresivo.

1.  Termina actividad #3 en Did you get it? past progressive

Spanish 2

1.  We added some information to the bottom of the 4.1 vocab list.  The vocab transparency is in the Clave folder.

2.  We checked the hw.  ONLY if you wrote out the ENTIRE paragraph with the answers will you receive the credit.  The answers for the verbs and their conjugations are in the Claves folder.  THIS IS FOR A GRADE!

3.  What’s on Prueba 4.1?  There are 3 sections:

a.  Vocab –> There will be several sentences and you will have answers in the multiple choice format.

b.  Imperfect conjugation:  You will have a series of infinitives with a specific subject and will need to conjugate the verb to match the subject:
modelo:  ____ hablar – tú    On the line you would write hablaba.  there will be -ar, -er, -ir and irregular verbs to conjugate.

c. We practiced answering some questions about our childhood:
modelo:  Cuando eras joven, ¿a qué hora te levantabas?
A possible answer would be:  Me levantaba a las ocho.

4.  Using the slide of Los pitufos de ayer (¡y anteayer!), students got into partners and wrote a paragraph for “setting the scene” for the pitufos. If you have your information from class, you could write your own just to have the practice.  Remember that stories and legends usually begin with “once upon a time…” so in Spanish, your introduction or “setting the scene” should begin with the same words in Spanish.  This will help you greatly when you write your legend on Wed., April 9th!

2.  Bring in your 3 items from when you were young (We ran out of time today.  This will be a graded activity!
