Coming up this week! {12/16-12/20}

It’s our last week of 2019! We have a lot of fun to look forward to this week!

Math…
This week we will be continuing in Unit 3. We will be working on addition and subtraction as well as classifying. We will have homework on Monday and Wednesday this week! Please make sure your child returns their completed homework the next day.

Writer’s Workshop…
This week we are continuing Quarter 2 writing! We are continuing to work on poetry. We are also going to continue working on our writing skills as we write in our Elf Journal each day. This is great practice for us to work on capital letters, finger spaces, punctuation, and handwriting! We are becoming writers and it is so exciting to see!

Star of the Week…
We enjoyed learning about Brooklyn last week. Brooklyn’s favorite animal is an elephant. Her favorite color is pink. She wants to be an inspiration to others when she grows up. We will resume Star of the Week in 2020!

Don’t forget! Library day this week is Wednesday!
Don’t forget! Tuesday is a PLC day. We will dismiss at 1:33 pm.
