Hello Families!

I hope your family had a great spring break!  Hard to believe the 4th quarter is here and the stretch run has begun!

Reading

This week in reading (Unit 5, Week 4), the kids will practice asking and answering questions, point of view, possessive nouns and affixes as we read a variety of biographies.  You can expect a spelling list to come home Monday, but there will no longer be a weekly reading homework.

Math

In math class, we’ll begin to review fractions.  We’ll explore equivalent fractions to start the week, and end the week practicing word problems.  I anticipate homework on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings.
