Today Google launches ‘Sites’. It is their latest pony in the “Google Apps” suite, and as such it is appears to only available to people who have access to Google Apps for their domain. (It’s only been out a couple of hours – I could end up being wrong about that.)
Unfortunately, I think most in education will be kept out of the sandbox by this, since I predict that most school district IT departments won’t be progressive enough to enable Google Apps for their employees, because along with it comes mail, calendar, etc.
I’d be happy to be wrong!
