I came across a website today that is one of those ‘slap yourself on the forehead and say “Why didn’t I think of that”’ kind of deals.
Their mission: provide easy access to high quality open source alternatives to well-known commercial products.
Good enough – but other sites have beaten them to the punch on that.
What makes them different? They identify good, free software but then categorize it by what commercial software it replaces. Oh – and just to throw a delighter my way – they sort it by operating system.
Slick.
