Arnold Community Learning Center

The Arnold Community Learning Center (CLC) keeps the school doors open at Arnold Elementary during the out-of-school hours.  The Arnold CLC offers a variety of services to support children, families, and the neighborhood.   At Arnold Elementary, children and families can access quality before– and after-school programs, after-school clubs, family night activities, and adult learning programs.  Other family support services, such as free food distributions, clothing closet, low-income bus passes, and computer access are available through the Carol Yoakum Family Resource Center across from the school.

The Arnold CLC is a partnership between Arnold Elementary, the Lincoln Housing Authority as the lead agency, and Lincoln Parks & Recreation as the provider for the before- and after-school program.  These partners work together, along with community representatives and parents, to provide high quality programs and services as well as neighborhood outreach through the Arnold School/Neighborhood Advisory Committee (SNAC).

The Arnold CLC, as a part of the Lincoln Community Centers initiative, provides a vital link between the school and community.  For more information, please contact:
