Check out the article from the Lincoln Journal Star. I’ve already started training for next year’s obstacle course to redeem myself. My record against students at the inflatable obstacle course wasn’t so hot, but I had a great time (despite a few boo boos and extremely sore muscles the next day). Another Lincoln High job well done! ¡Qué divertido!

The Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is pleased to announce our annual Fiesta on the Green on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Nebraska Union Plaza (rain site: Nebraska Union Ballroom) as part of the Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration. Our event will begin with the reading of the Hispanic Heritage Month
Proclamation by Dr. James Garza, Associate Professor of History and Ethnic Studies, and have presentations by Jarana (Flamenco and Latin Rhythms), Alicia Dominguez (Latina Folclorico Singer) and Son del Llano (Cuban Son). We will also have two food vendors, Taqueria El Rey and Jerusalem Bakery and the store vendor, Bodhi Imports. Please join us by marking this observance with song, dance and music. This event is FREE and OPEN to the PUBLIC.
