Hello! My name is Ashley Barent, This is my fourth year teaching Health at Irving Middle School. I grew up near the small town of Newman Grove in northeast Nebraska. In May of 2012 I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a degree in Health and Biology Secondary Education.

In my free time I enjoy watching television, especially game shows and sporting events. I also enjoy listening to music, reading on my Kindle, and visiting with family and friends. I just got married in April 2015, so you may have formerly known me as Ms. Nelson. 🙂
