If you have a child who will begin Kindergarten next fall…

Lincoln Public Schools is using an online student registration system for kindergarten enrollment. This online tool is now OPEN. Click here to start Kindergarten Online Student Registration .

Once on the LPS web page, you will see this button to begin.     

• A family brand new to LPS should go to LPS website, click on the “Enroll your student for school” button and follow the appropriate links.
• An existing LPS parent/guardian wanting to enroll a new child can log into their ParentVUE account and click the Online Registration button in the upper right-hand corner to get started.

Here are some helpful facts:

• Children with birth dates of 10/16/2018 – 7/31/2019 are eligible to begin kindergarten next fall (2024-2025).
• Notification letters for students who completed an Application for Special Attendance Permit (to attend a school different from their home school) will be emailed by Student Services by mid February.
• A registration booklet will be available to families. Click here for online forms such as Physical Exam, Vision Evaluation etc.

Kindergarten families who need to hand in paperwork, or those needing assistance with online registration can stop by the Zeman office between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. or call 402-436-1169.

Kindergarten tested dates are students with birth dates between 8/1/2019 – 10/15/2019. Starting 3/31/2024, Testing applications can be found on the district website by clicking here. Follow the instructions listed in section “Kindergarten Assessment Testing”.

This is a quick check list of items that Zeman needs before your student starts kindergarten this fall.  All documents can be faxed to 402-458-3108, emailed to cdlouhy@lps.org (Chris Dlouhy – Registrar) or brought into the Zeman School Office between 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

New 4/2/2024 – We are excited to announce Zeman’s Kindergarten Jumpstart program for incoming 2024 Kindergarten students will be July 17-18, from 9:00-11:00 am. Parent Meeting will be July 18 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Kindergarten Jumpstart Registration

(New 4/12/2024) Students with birthdates between 8/1/2019 and 10/15/2019 are eligible to participate in an assessment conducted by Lincoln Public Schools to determine possible early entrance to kindergarten. You will need to upload a birth certificate when you complete the below application.

Parents are able to access quarterly report cards through our online family communication portal, ParentVue. Check the Zeman calendar for the availablility date on this quarters report cards.

To see your child’s General Education, Special Education, Gifted, Band and Strings reports, please log into your ParentVue account.

Special Education MDT report, IEP, and quarterly progress reports can be found in ParentVue by clicking on the “Special Ed” tab.

General education, Band, Strings and Gifted report cards can be found in ParentVue by clicking on the “Documents” tab.

The Report Card information tab will provide completed quarter General Education, Band and Strings grades.  

Forgotten passwords can be obtained by clicking the “Forgot Password” link . A link to reset your password will be sent to your email address.

ParentVue activation codes for a new ParentVue account or ParentVue assistance can be obtained from the Zeman School Office in person or by calling 402-436-1169.

A Report Absence button is available in ParentVUE.  Parents/Guardians can submit their student’s absence, up to 30 days in advance, from ParentVUE.

Absences should be entered in ParentVUE if the student will be absent for the entire day or first thing in the morning, arriving later in the day. Student’s picked up early from school should be called into the Zeman school office at 402-436-1169.

Once you have pressed the save button, you should see the following image on your screen to know that it has been submitted.
