We The People

James Madison Legacy Project:

Thank you for participating in the James Madison Legacy Project (JMLP). One of the requirements of the U.S. Department of Education Supporting Effective Educator Development (SEED) grant that funds the JMLP is an evaluation of student outcomes focusing on the course content.

Students’ responses for purposes of the research study are entirely confidential. The results will be reported in the aggregate for the over 40,000 student participating in the study. No individual student, school, or teacher will be identified. Students’ participation in the study is entirely voluntary.

Students are asked to provide their names and birth dates so that their pretests can be matched with their posttests. Once the surveys are matched, the students are assigned a number and their names are permanently removed from the data base. If students are hesitant to provide their full names, they may put their initials in the boxes designated for the first and last names.

All of the questions are multiple choice except for a few that require students to write in information, such as the name of the class, their teacher, and their school. Students will be able to go back and change answers up until they click on “finish” to complete and exit the survey. The test is not complete until students reach the “THANK YOU” page.

Pretest: Students will be prompted to begin by clicking the link below and answering the questions to the best of their ability.  Good luck Silver Hawks!!!

Posttest: Students will be prompted to begin by clicking the link below and answering the questions to the best of their ability.  Good luck Silver Hawks!!
