I got an opportunity to speak to a group of pre-service teachers yesterday afternoon on the topic of “Engaging our 21st Century Learners.” I’m always energized by doing that sort of thing, because to me, they represent hope. Part of my message focused on them continuing as a learner throughout their careers… even evolving to identifying themselves as a “lead learner” rather than a “teacher.”
To emphasize my point, I asked my Twitter network to chime in on this question: “What advice would you give a pre-service teacher?” I was pleased with the response I got (just within 15 minutes or so). Thanks PLN! You’re awesome!
