The New Season is Here!

I’m excited about the team for the 2014-2015 season, as we’re coming of a great season from last year, and we’re looking to build and reach higher once again!  The coaching staff has not changed much, as Mrs. Larson and Mrs. Lorimer will again be our assistants.  In addition, we will be adding several practicum and alumni coaches as well.  The parent meeting is Monday, September 22nd in the cafeteria at 7:00.  Hope to see you then!

We will be going over the handbook.  See below for the contents:

Welcome to my website!

Tommy school picThanks for visiting my page!  I’m currently in my 12th year of teaching at Lincoln Southeast, and my 20th year overall.  Not only do I enjoy teaching, but I’ve also been a Speech Coach the entire time I’ve taught, where I’ve worked with so many talented students and coaches.  I’ve also been blessed with a wonderful wife and three children, ranging from fourth grade to freshman in high school.  Outside of teaching and being a parent, I’ve become an avid cyclist, riding for around 3000 miles this year.  I also enjoy working with my hands, doing everything from building bicycles to finishing my basement.  My biggest claims to fame are being ranked third in the Nation driving a race car in 1999, and appearing in a Wanek’s of Crete commercial (Ha!).  Please visit my website for more information about the classes I teach, as well as competitive speech.  The ability to speak well is a skill you will always use your entire life, and I encourage you to join the team!

LSE Speech Team meets every Monday in room E217 at 3:15.  New team members can join at any time during the season; all you have to do is stop by, and we’ll get you started!
