ALL STUDENTS

All students have been told about the clothing rules…short shorts and tank tops will not be allowed!  You will be changing into Pound shorts and t-shirts if your clothes are too short or revealing.                                         Administration

Take a few minutes to see the 3rd quarter 7th grade ‘One Point Perspective Rooms’ now on display in the Media Center.  Also, 2nd quarter 7th grade can pick up their ‘Native Shields’ in the art room (131) after school this week. Mr. Carey

Congratulations to all 7th graders who participated in this year’s Duke Talent Search…simply to be invited is an honor.  We are pleased to have the following Pound students receiving state level recognition – Chris Jurich, Jonathan Lederer, Levi Sandbulte, Shelby Tuder, Austin Ward, Emily Whipple and Jeff Wood.  Earning both state and national recognitions are Jacob Moore and Kylee Yakel!                                                                                             Mrs. Christiansen

We have a winner! Dr. Deibler knows which grade won the homework-free day, but if you want to know, you’ll need to come to the Multicultural Dinner tomorrow from 6:15-8:00.  And it’s not too late! Pick up an invitation in the media center today and bring a parent and a covered dish to the dinner tomorrow.

6TH GRADE

Sixth graders who participated in “I Am a Small Part of This World” vocal music program are reminded that they are singing a few of those songs for the Multicultural Dinner tomorrow night.  Students need to meet in Mrs. Cook’s room at 5:45 p.m. to put costumes on and review the songs.  Refer to the green notes handed out last week for further information.
