Morning classes:

We Do Lego (Grades 4, 5, 6 & 7)

Don’t just build with Lego blocks, create and code your own robot, truck, animatronic creature, or other project and watch it come to life! Participants will use the new Lego WeDo 2.0 kits to learn about programming, engineering and technology and create a variety of projects from the ground up, making the robots from Lego pieces, figuring out how to incorporate a motor in their design, and then coding the assembly to run (lots of assembly required).


Adventures in MineCraft (Grades 4, 5, 6, & 7)

Instructor: Mr. Mark Danley

Date: June 11th – June 15th / Time: 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. Noon

Whether it’s your first day or you are a Minecraft pro, this is the course for you.  In this course you will create your own Minecraft Tutorials using Jing. Discover Minecraft tricks even your friends don’t know! Redstone, texture packs, new updates, resource packs and biomes are just some of what you will find in this class that is ALL Minecraft!

Digital Art and Design (Grades 6, 7, 8 & 9)

Instructor: Mr. Adam Schwaninger

Explore graphic design, animation, and other forms of digital art.  This course focuses on creative expression using Photoshop, PiskelApp, iPad drawing applications, and more.  Learning will be a combination of structured lessons and freedom of choice, culminating with a student-designed final project.


Afternoon classes:

Web Page Design/Web Graphics (Grades 6, 7, 8 & 9)

Have you ever wanted to make your own Web site? In this course we are going to learn about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, three of the most important parts of creating a site. You will get to design your own pages and type in your code to make your ideas come to life.


Lego Robotics Ev 3 Class (Grades 4, 5, 6, & 7) 

Instructor: Mr. Brent Jarosz/Mr. Powers

Date:  June 25th – 29th / Time: 9 a.m.-12 noon

 Lego Robotics kits allow students to create the smartest, strongest and most advanced Lego robot ever! LEGO Ev 3 MINDSTORM includes an all-new Ev 3 Intelligent Brick with 32-bit microprocessor, a sound sensor, an ultrasonic visual sensor, an improved touch sensor, an improved light sensor and easy-to-use Windows and Macintosh programming software. Maximum of 16 participants. Students will be required to work with a partner. The course is designed for two students per kit.
