About Me

Ms. Scofield by the Numbers:

1 – I have one younger sister.  She lives in Omaha and works as a graphic designer for Day Cloud.

2 – My two parents are teachers as well.  You might have had Mrs. Scofield at Sheridan or Saratoga Elementary or Mr. Scofield for band class at Randolph, Humann, Hill, or Wysong Elementary.

3 – I spent three years in high school at LSE (my 9th grade year was at Irving Middle School).  I have now officially been a Silverhawk longer than a Knight!

7 – This is my seventh year of teaching at LSW.  I did my student teaching here and am very happy that I was hired on with the staff!

11 – I have a dog, Tess, who is eleven years old.  I adopted her two years ago from a family from near Lexington.  She is a yellow lab and loves to play fetch.

22 – I have played piano for twenty two years.  Although I don’t get the opportunity to play very often anymore, I still really enjoy it.

290 – I was one of 290 in the Cornhusker Marching Band in college.  I loved being part of the alto saxophone section and being able to cheer on the Huskers!

2010 – I graduated from UNL in 2010 with my bachelor’s degree in Math Education.

2013 – In 2013, I finished my Master’s degree and graduated from UNL.  I was part of the New Teacher Network and earned my MAT degree (Master’s of Arts for Teachers) through the Mathematics Department.
