Teri Zimmerman
Education & Outreach Communications Manager, Nebraska Soybean Board (NSB)
Teri graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2011 with a degree in Business and Communication. Teri has worked with NSB for over 5 years managing youth education projects and collaborating with various groups and industry partners to promote agriculture. She is also a member of the 34th class of the Nebraska LEAD Program.
Teri and her husband, Austin, are involved in the family farm near Odell, NE raising corn, soybeans, wheat and livestock. Teri tells us, “I have a passion for agriculture and strive to share information with others about food production and what farmers do. Science plays a large role in agriculture and everyday life. By supporting the science fair, I hope that it will increase students’ interest and understanding of science and give them the tools to meet the challenges of tomorrow.”
