• Wheelchair Football, a four-week series, will begin Saturdays from June 8 to 29. Games are held at Madonna ProActive, 55th & Pine Lake Road. For more information, stop in the Schoo office.

• Come to the Outdoor Band Concert here at Schoo tonight (May 14) from 6 to 8 p.m. Schoo bands and the jazz band will perform. There will be food vendors there as well. Bring your lawn chair as seating is limited.

• Eighth grade girls who are attending Lincoln High School in the fall and are interested in playing volleyball should attend an information meeting at 7 p.m. tonight (May 9) in Johnson Gym. If you have questions please contact the Athletic Department at Lincoln High School (402-436-1536).

• Attention 8th graders: North Star will hold a Strength, Speed and Agility Training Orientation tonight (May 9) from 6 to 8 p.m. in the North Star Gym. Coaches will be teaching techniques, lifts, and drills to athletes of all girls and boys sports. Athletes are strongly encouraged to attend as head coaches from every sport will be in attendance. Come dressed to participate in workouts. Parents are invited to stay and watch. There will also be a short meeting afterwards for those considering playing Freshmen Football. See you tonight!

• Attention all 7th grade students interested in going on next year’s 8th grade annual trip to Washington, D.C., and Colonial Williamsburg: The information packets can be picked up at the parent information meeting at 7 p.m. tonight (May 9) at Goodrich Middle School. We will be traveling with students from Goodrich and Park. If you cannot attend this meeting please contact Kent Swanson at Goodrich Middle School or pick up an information packet in the main office.
