Daily Student Announcements
Monday, May 21, 2012

Today is an “A” Day

• We are pleased to announce that the new principal for Schoo Middle School is Mr. Bill Schulenberg, who currently serves as Schoo’s associate principal.

• There will be a Sports Physical Night at North Star High School from 6 to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow (May 22). Athletic packets with required signatures must be turned in with your $20 payment prior to receiving your physical that evening. Athletic packets are available online or at North Star High School or in the Schoo office. This sports physical will not take the place of an annual check up with your family physician, but merely fulfill the requirements in place by the NSAA for athletes to participate in high school athletics for the 2012-13 school year.

• Students, please stop in the office to check for your missing phones, electronics and eyeglasses before school is out.

• Reminder: students should not have open beverages or any food or drink other than their lunch in their lockers.

• Today (May 21) will be the last day the store will be open for this school year. Come and spend your Red cards and your Schoo bucks!

• Yearbooks are going fast! Reserve your copy of the Schoo Yearbook for signing day! Purchase your copy in the office or online before they are gone! Yearbooks are $26.

• Negative meal balances need to be paid in full before June 8, 2012. The parent/guardian is responsible to pay for all school meal purchases made by their student(s). Negative balances can be paid in the school office until Friday, June 1. After this date, payments will need to be made at or sent to: Accounting, LPSDO Box 2, 3801 S. 14th Street, Lincoln, NE 68502. Also, online payments can be made through May 29 at https://wapp.lps.org/scarlet/parentaccount/login.cfm?idx=y. Negative balance meal accounts will be referred to a collection agency if they are not paid.
